How much does a website cost?

Is the free preview really free?
Yes. Tell us about your business and we'll build a preview of your new one-page site. If you like it, Launch Your Preview puts it live for $1,200. If not, you owe nothing.

Launch Your Preview: 3–5 business days after we get your info. Custom Site: 2–3 weeks. Signature Build: 3–5 weeks. Need it sooner? Rush launch is +25%.
How do payments work?
Most projects are 50% to start and 50% before launch. Signature Builds are 40% to start, 30% at homepage approval, and 30% before launch. The Brand Guide is paid upfront.
What's a scroll-animated hero video?
It's an optional top section for your homepage. As visitors scroll, it plays like a short film: your storefront, your work, your product. We create a custom AI-generated video for your business and tie it to the scroll. It works on phones. See it on Handmade by Tierra LaNè.
Do I have to get the hero video?
No. It's optional. Every site is mobile-first with tap-to-call, maps, and basic SEO either way. We'll price the hero on your free call if you want one.
Do I own my domain?
Yes. Your domain is registered in your name.
Do I have to pay monthly?
No. Care plans are recommended, not required. Care is $59/mo (or $590/yr) and Care+ is $119/mo. They cover hosting, SSL, domain renewal, uptime checks, and small edits each month.
Do I need to write the words or take photos?
No writing needed for the basics: we drop in your real hours, info, and photos. Custom Sites include copy polish, and Signature Builds include copywriting. For new photos, we'll recommend a local photographer (billed by them directly).
Can you make me a logo?
Yes. A New Brand Build ($1,000) includes 2 original logo concepts, a full logo set, and a brand guide. Already have a logo you like? The Brand Guide ($500) organizes it so it looks the same everywhere.
Can customers order or book on my site?
Online stores and booking systems are quoted separately. For restaurants, we link your existing Square, Toast, or ChowNow ordering.
Do you build custom apps?
Yes: customer portals, CRMs, and tools for your team, like the application we built for Plenterra. Custom apps and other fully custom work are quoted separately.
What if I need changes after launch?
Care plans include small edits every month (30 minutes on Care, 90 on Care+). Anything else is $100/hr, always quoted first.
What's Replit? Do I need to know it?
Replit is the platform we build sites on. You don't need to touch it; we handle it.
Do you work with businesses outside Utah?
Yes. We're based in Smithfield, Utah, work closely with businesses in Cache Valley, Box Elder, Weber, and Davis counties and Franklin County, Idaho, and take clients anywhere in the US. Calls happen on Google Meet.
What happens on the free call?
30 minutes on Google Meet. We talk about your business, look at what you have now, and figure out what would help. No pressure, no commitment.
